Tonight's Bible story for P was, wait for it...wait for it...you guessed it, Simeon & Anna. After we sang the Nunc Dimittis together, I then started to page through
P's first Bible showing him the pictures and making commentary along the way. We arrived at Jesus instituting the Lord's Supper. I asked P what Jesus was doing. He said, "there is the bread." I said "and what is that in Jesus' hand?" P said, in clear words, simple and as a matter of fact, "the blood". He is already half taught on the Lord's Supper, and this without even being taught an iota of the Catechism!
